VYTAL telecom was founded in 2005. The company was built as a 100% IP & VoIP facility-based carrier - a rarity at the time. An IP switching facility was installed and located at the NAP of the Americas in South Florida. The company also integrated all of its ERP, margin analysis, and reporting tools directly into it's switching facilities. These tools were then combined with the company's accounting package to provide real-time margin analysis, on thousands of international routes, often down to the city level. This allowed for extremely efficient operations. 90%+ of all traffic was transported internationally using an arbitrage rate exchange (Arbinet). These operations eliminated the need for an internal and costly LCR process.
